why the need for a permanent home?
The greater Ozark area needs Impact to have a permanent home more than ever. Upon growing out of The Ozark Community Center, it took 8 months to find a new home. If something changed with our mobile church arrangement it would be nearly impossible, with the number of venues available in Ozark, for 350-400 people to quickly find a place to meet each Sunday morning.
In addition, our current ministries like MomCo., youth and children's ministry are growing out of their space. Having dedicated space allows Impact to meet needs of growing ministries through multiple services, multiple nights of the week and larger dedicated gathering rooms.
Also, recent studies show a growing disconnect between young families and faith communities - a church family. We're committed to changing that. We're building a place where:
- Kids thrive: A safe, clean, fun, and engaging environment where children learn about God's love through scripture.
- Youth grow: A weekly gathering where teens experience dynamic worship, relevant teaching, and build lasting relationships through authentic small groups.
- Families connect: Support and encouragement for parents, like our thriving MomCo, which offers coaching, connection, and community. Regularly scheduled family events and ministries, which will expand once we have a permanent home.
- Discipleship deepens: Authentic and vulnerable Bible-based opportunities for kids, teens, young adults, families, and adults to discover their purpose and make an impact.
